WDB #41

I just finished my blog of the week post and looked behind me to find both Nigel & Chloe passed out. Yes, they've been awake since 7:30 (it's now 8:30) after getting a good 7 hours sleep with their mom. That whole hour they were awake must have been pretty damn exhausting, eh? I thought I was bad when I insist on taking a 2 hour nap on Sunday afternoons! At least by the time I nap I've done my laundry, started prepping for dinner, worked in the yard and other miscellaneous Sunday chores.. sheesh! Oh, to live a dog's life.. Exhibit A Exhibit B Check out what all the rest of the canine group has been up to at Sweetnicks tonight! :D

Awww Nigel's giving his little seester kisses :D Okay really they're play/fighting.. but a Mom can see the love, right? tee heee! Check out the rest of the gang tonight at Sweetnicks!

It's been raining here.. Rain and the dirt in my flower beds produce mud. Mix 1 part Nigel with 2 parts mud and this is the outcome. I couldn't have been more thrilled. Gah. See what the other pooches have been up to this week at Sweetnicks tonight. =)

It's warm! It's only 8:30 in the morning! Could summer FINALLY be here? Chloe thinks so.. from the minute we wake up she demands to go outside and stay there.. she's either investigating the corners of the yard, playing with her numerous balls or soaking up the sun on our deck. I got lucky and snapped this in between her warm-weather activities :D Nigel, also known as the "little prince", likes the warm weather as well, but prefers to be inside sitting on the back of the sofa watching what goes on outside through our living room windows. Gawd forbid a neighbor decides to walk down his street without him knowing! teeee! See what everyone else is doing on this warm summery day at Sweetnicks!

Nigel hosted a sleep over a couple weeks ago and his mentor, Jasper, was the guest of honor. Nigel had quite a few bad habits before he met Jasper, but Jasper is one of the smartest and most gentle dogs I've ever met and thankfully, he taught Nigel a thing or two about manners =) Check out all the other pups at Sweetnicks tonight!
